Eagle Autonomous’s foundation is rooted in members that have prior experience working with racing vehicles. We seek to continue building our knowledge of autonomy, pursue outreach opportunities for the student body, and increase awareness of the relevance of autonomy in modern technology.

One aspect that distinguishes Eagle Autonomous from other schools is our diversity. As students of a STEM-focused university, each member brings unique skills to the table. The team boasts engineers with specialties in robotics, vehicle dynamics, unmanned aerial systems, physics, and spacecraft instrumentation. Given our close proximity to the Daytona International Speedway, racing is fundamental to our campus’s identity.

We understand that through the excitement of racing, knowledge of autonomous vehicles will enter the consciousness of a mainstream audience. Eagle Autonomous is eager to work on the Indy Autonomous Challenge in order to get more people involved in autonomy and racing.
